The CCH
Home Health Agency began operation in the summer of 1992.
The objective of Home Health was to bring the quality of care you
expect from Coffey Health System directly to the homes of our patients.
The Home Health Agency provides a wide range of services from
skilled nursing visits to health aide services, therapy or dietary
assistance. All of this in the comfort of home.
The CCH Home Health Agency is a not-for-profit, hospital based Medicare certified agency.
Upon your return home from the hospital, our agency can provide:

Skilled Nursing Services - An RN or LPN will visit you in your home to provide skilled nursing services such as dressing changes, catheter care, assessment of vital signs, assistance with medications, diabetes instruction and care, wound care, I.V. infusion, or any physician-ordered nursing service you may need.

Home Health Aide Services - A certified Home Health Aide is available to provide bathing and personal care for clients. This includes services such as hair care, bed changes, shaving and making clients comfortable.

Therapies - If you are homebound and your physician has ordered Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, the professionals from Coffey Health System will provide those services right in your home. We also contract with a professional for Speech Therapy services as well.

Dietitian - A Registered Dietitian is available for home visits when your physician feels that meal planning and assistance in obtaining proper nutrition will enhance your healing process.

Cost - Since we are a Medicare Certified Agency, we accept Medicare assignment at no additional cost to the client for nursing and therapy services.
We also accept clients with Medicaid and private insurance who meet the criteria of those agencies for admission to Home Health.
Whatever your home-bound health care need, we’ll try to assist or refer you to someone that can help.

Social Services - A licensed Social Worker is available on a short-term basis for a variety of purposes related to the patient’s illness, including assessment of social and emotional factors related to the patient’s illness, need for care, response to treatment and adjustment to care; counseling for long-range planning and decision-making; community resource planning and linkage.

- Private Pay Services for medication set-up
- Non-diabetic foot care and bathing
