Coffey Health System is ready for all emergencies, large or small. We have
a state-of-the- art emergency room with four trauma rooms and two exam rooms,
dedicated 24 hour emergency room staff, and a Type I medical service to all
of Coffey and parts of surrounding counties on a 24 hour basis. The emergency room is staffed full time with an
RN, physician on call and lab, x-ray, and respiratory services available as well. The EMS
service is staffed with full time paramedics and is capable of providing Advanced Life
Support (ALS) for those critical patients.
All emergency services staff is
on duty 24 hours, so they are always ready to respond when an emergency
arises. The emergency room and EMS bay and living quarters were all part of
a 1994 expansion. An expansion project which provided much needed space for
a growing emergency department. Coffey Health System is proud to provide
such high quality medical service to the surrounding area. No one wants to
visit an emergency room, but rest assured knowing that if you do require these services, you will be in good hands.
