  • STAFF - The Meadows prides itself on offering quality staffing to assist our residents.  The staff includes licensed and certified nursing staff, an Activity Director and Dietary Manager, not to mention the many other qualified personnel employed at The Meadows.

  • ATTENDANT ON DUTY - There is an attendant present in the facility 24 hours a day to provide assistance to the residents' needs.  Medication monitoring is available if needed and each apartment is equipped with a call light to summon assistance.

  • DIETARY SERVICES - Nutritional meals are prepared three times daily by dietary personnel.  However, residents do not have to eat every meal prepared by dietary.  A certified Dietitian is on staff to assist with special diets.  A microwave and refrigerator are also included in each apartment.
    Guests are always welcome to dine with the residents at a cost payable at that time.

  • HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES - Trained housekeeping staff provide a thorough cleaning of all apartments one time each week.  On-duty attendants may also assist with necessary housekeeping duties at any time

  • LAUNDRY - Washers and dryers are provided free of charge for residents to launder personal items.  All linens and towels are laundered by the staff.  Additional towels and linens are available upon request.
    Personal laundry service is provided for those needing assistance for a small fee each week.

  • ACTIVITIES - The Activity Director and staff plan organized activities on a regular basis for the residents to become involved in.  Also, an activity room is equipped with exercise equipment and a pool table for residents' use and enjoyment.

  • SECURITY - On-duty staff monitor the facility and grounds 24 hours a day.

  • MAIL SERVICE - Mail is delivered and picked up at the facility by the U.S. Postal Service.

  • PARKING - Parking spaces are available adjacent to the facility for residents having their own vehicles.  Also, plenty of parking is available to all visitors to the facility.

  • STORAGE - Each apartment is provided with ample closet and storage space.  However, for larger items additional storage is also available in each wing for anyone needing it.

  • MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - The maintenance staff is responsible for all repairs and maintenance both inside and out of the facility and apartment units.  Maintenance can also assist residents in hanging wall fixtures.

  • TRANSPORTATION - Transportation is provided for all residents, if needed, to local appointments and events at no additional charge.  Out-of-town transportation is also provided for special events planned by the Activities Director.  There will be a nominal fee for anyone needing out-of-town transportation to appointments.

  • UTILITIES/PHONE/CABLE TV - Included in the monthly fee is water, heat and air, electricity and basic cable television.  Phone service is at the resident's expense, but all wiring is already provided.  Each unit is also equipped with individual controls for heat and air conditioning.  The cable service includes basic channels, but those channels considered premium by the local cable company may be added at the resident's expense.

  • BEAUTY/BARBER SERVICES - There is a beautician visiting the facility weekly by appointment for the convenience of any residents wishing to use her services.  Residents are responsible for the cost of services provided during visits.

  • PRIVATE DINING ROOM - The facility offers a private dining room available by appointment to residents.  The room may be used for private parties, social functions, family gatherings, or any other type of activity requiring more space.

  • GUESTS - Overnight quests are welcome for short periods of stay in residents' rooms.  Sofas furnished in each room make into a guest bed.  Guests may also dine in the dining room at a cost, which is payable at that time.

  • APARTMENTS AND FURNISHINGS - Each unit is tastefully decorated in either mauve or blue and comes furnished but has space for additional furniture.  Each kitchen includes cabinets, a refrigerator and microwave.  Every unit is also equipped with a call light for assistance.  All units also have a private patio and parking spaces.
