Coffey County Medical Center is located on the north side of Coffey County
Hospital, giving easy access to all of the hospital. The Medical Center
began operating in their current location in 1995 after an expansion project
completion. Currently, the staff includes six family physicians and a
general surgeon. Support staff includes a Physician Assistant and a
Nurse Practitioner.
Besides the Burlington location, rural clinics are located in LeRoy and
Waverly and plans are ongoing to open a clinic in Gridley during 2001. The
Waverly and LeRoy Clinics were added in 1985 and Jim Oehlert, Physician
Assistant, sees patients daily at each site. The clinic in LeRoy is conveniently located just off Hwy. 75, one block west of Main Street. The
clinic is open each day from 9:00 until 12:00. The Waverly clinic has
recently undergone a complete transformation and is now open. It is
situated in downtown Waverly in a historic building on the Main Street. This
clinic is open each day from 1:30 until 4:30. See the contact us page for
further information.
